Chapter 4 of 5

Responsible declaration

Since Verifactu, whoever produces an invoicing system has to declare that it complies with the law. That declaration is called a responsible declaration. OnBio publishes it for the system it issues your invoices with, so you do not have to sign any.

What it says

The declaration says the system's name and identifier code and its version. It also says the system is used only as VERI*FACTU and that it supports several obliged parties. It ends with the producer's details, its tax ID, its address, the declaration of compliance and the date and place of signature.

Several obliged parties means the same system invoices for OnBio and for each creator, each one with its own chain of records. Your invoices do not get mixed with anyone else's.

Where it is

  1. 1. Click Responsible declaration at the bottom of the panel's side menu.
  2. 2. Read the one for the version your invoices are issued with.

You also open it at onbio.es/responsible-declaration, without entering the panel.

When you are asked for it

Your accountant or the Tax Agency may ask you for the declaration of the system you invoice with. Share the page's link. Each version of the system in service has its declaration, so the page always shows the one for the version your invoices are issued with.

What the law requires

It is required by article 13 of Royal Decree 1007/2023 of whoever produces an invoicing system. Its content is set by article 15 of Order HAC/1177/2024. Companies apply Verifactu from 1 January 2027 and the rest of those obliged from 1 July 2027. OnBio applies it to your invoices from your first sale.

Your other invoices

The declaration covers the invoices OnBio issues. If you issue other invoices outside OnBio, you need your own invoicing system with its own declaration. The guide VAT, invoices and Verifactu explains it.

What you have now

You know where the declaration is and when to share it. In the last chapter you see content reports.
