Chapter 3 of 5
Chapter 3 of 5
Allowed products
When you sign up to sell, you accept OnBio's prohibited products policy. That policy says what cannot be sold, such as a product that promises guaranteed income. Checking your products against it before publishing them saves you a withdrawal and a bad time.
Read the policy
- 1. Scroll to the footer of any OnBio page.
- 2. Click Prohibited products under OnBio legal texts.
- 3. Read the version in force.
Check your products
Go over each published product with the policy at hand. Pay attention to what you promise in the headline and the description, not only to what you deliver. An exaggerated promise, such as guaranteed results or cures, can break the policy even if the content is good. If in doubt, rewrite the promise with what the buyer really achieves.
What happens with a product that breaks it
If someone reports a product and OnBio decides it breaks the policy, it withdraws it. The product can no longer be bought at once. All its buyers get a refund without asking and their subscriptions to that product are cancelled. You get the decision with the part of the policy that is broken.
The withdrawal only affects that product. The rest of your store keeps selling.
You can appeal
If you disagree with the decision, appeal it from Moderation for 6 months. A person other than the one who decided reviews it. If they agree with you, OnBio undoes the measure. Allowed and prohibited products explains it.
If you get a report
Read the report calmly and check the product against the policy. If you are right, answer OnBio with your arguments and your evidence, such as the product's real content or the results you promise and can prove. If the report is partly right, fix the page before OnBio decides.
Many withdrawals
Many withdrawals, refunds or chargebacks can lead to blocking your new sales while OnBio reviews your business. Your students keep access to what they already bought.
What you have now
Your products comply with the policy. In the next chapter you see the responsible declaration of invoicing.
