Chapter 1 of 5
Legal texts
OnBio publishes the legal texts you need to sell in Spain. You do not have to draft your own terms of sale or privacy policy. Each published version no longer changes. OnBio records who accepted each one, with its date and IP.
The ones you accept
In the sign-up to sell, the owner accepts four texts. They accept them once per business. That acceptance applies to your whole team.
- The creator terms, which govern your relationship with OnBio.
- The agreement on buyers' data, which says which data you process and which OnBio does.
- The prohibited products policy.
- The trader self-certification, in which you declare you sell in accordance with the law.
The ones your buyers accept
Your buyers accept the terms of sale when paying. The acceptance is stored in the order with the exact version. If a buyer complains, OnBio has proof of what they accepted.
Check what you accepted
- 1. Open Settings in the side menu.
- 2. Click Legal texts.
- 3. Look in Acceptance history at which version your business accepted, when and at what moment.
Each text can be read on its public page, with its version in force and the earlier ones.
New versions
When OnBio publishes a new version of a text you signed, it lets you know by email and in the panel with the date it comes into force. If the change is relevant, it publishes it at least 30 days ahead. From that date, the panel is read-only until the owner accepts it. Your sales and your payouts keep working at all times. Accept a new version explains it.
Who sells
The law requires showing the buyer who sells to them. OnBio does it with the tax details of your sign-up, in your store's legal information. Who sells in your store explains it.
What you have now
You know which texts govern your sales. In the next chapter you see cookies.
