Chapter 5 of 5
Reports and withdrawals
European law requires platforms to have a channel to report illegal content. On OnBio, anyone can report content in your store. They do not need an account to do it. A person on the OnBio team reviews each report and decides. A report alone does not withdraw anything.
How you find out
If the report affects you, the case appears in Moderation and you get an email. Each case shows its status and, when there is a decision, what was decided. A case can also come from your refunds and chargebacks or from the security of your payout account.
Answer during the review
OnBio can ask for your side before deciding. It lets you know by email and in the case.
- 1. Click Moderation in the side menu and open the case.
- 2. Write Your answer and link evidence if you have it.
- 3. Click Send answer.
You can only answer each question once. The review keeps its deadline even if you do not answer, so reply soon.
The decision
The statement of reasons says which measure is taken, the facts, the part of the legal texts it relies on and how to appeal. It also says that no automated system took the decision. If a product is withdrawn, its buyers get a refund.
Appeal
- 1. Open the case in Moderation and read the statement of reasons.
- 2. Click Appeal the decision.
- 3. Explain why you disagree and send the appeal.
You can appeal for 6 months. Only the owner and administration can do it. A person other than the one who decided reviews it. Content reports and decisions explains it.
Checklist
- You know which legal texts you accepted and where to check them.
- Your store shows its notice and its list of cookies.
- Your products comply with the prohibited products policy.
- You know where the responsible declaration of invoicing is.
- You know how to answer a question from OnBio and appeal a decision.
