Content reports and decisions

Reviewed on 5 October 2026
On this page

Anyone can report content in your store they believe is illegal. They do not need an OnBio account. A person on the OnBio team reviews each report and decides. If the decision affects you, you get its reasons and you can appeal it.

Answer a question from OnBio

During the review, OnBio can ask for your side before deciding. It lets you know by email and in the case.

  1. 1. Click Moderation in the side menu and open the case.
  2. 2. Write Your answer and link evidence if you have it.
  3. 3. Click Send answer.

Appeal a decision

  1. 1. Open the case in Moderation.
  2. 2. Read the statement of reasons.
  3. 3. Click Appeal the decision.
  4. 4. Explain why you disagree and send the appeal.

What happens next

The statement of reasons says which measure is taken, the facts, the part of the legal texts it relies on and how to appeal. It also says that no automated system took the decision. A person other than the one who decided reviews your appeal. If they agree with you, OnBio undoes the measure and lets you know by email.

Keep in mind

  • You can appeal for 6 months from the decision.
  • Only the owner and administration can appeal.
  • You can only answer each question once. The review keeps its deadline even if you do not answer.
  • If a product is withdrawn, its buyers get a refund. Refunds for a withdrawn product explains it.
