Email digests

The digest arrives at 8:00, Madrid time, with what was posted since the previous one. Each member chooses in their preferences between Daily, Weekly or None. The weekly one arrives on Mondays and is the default option. If there is nothing new since the last one, no email arrives that day.

Each community has its own digest. A member of two communities chooses the frequency of each one separately.

1. 11. Open the community from Communities.
2. 22. Click the Members tab.
3. 33. Look in each row at the digest they chose.

Each member decides the frequency. You do not change it for them.

The weekly digest goes out on Monday with the week's posts. Schedule your important posts during the week so Monday's digest arrives with content. A week without posts is a Monday without a digest.

Write clear titles on the first line of each post, because that is what is read in the email. A direct question invites them in to answer.

A member who chooses None does not get the digest. They stay in the community and see it when entering their area. It is not leaving the community. If many choose it, check whether you post too little or whether what you post interests them.

• Your community is tied to your product.
• It has two or three channels with clear names.
• The welcome and the rules are pinned at the top of the feed.
• You have posts scheduled for next week.
• You have added the resources you want to give your members.
• You know how to mute, expel and name moderators.
• You have seen the community as a member with See in the area.
