Chapter 3 of 5

Refunds and guarantee

Each product can have a guarantee of 7 to 30 days that you choose when creating it. Within that period, OnBio returns the money to the buyer who asks for it with no questions. Outside it, the request reaches you for you to decide.

Why give a guarantee

A guarantee visible on the page and at checkout removes the fear of paying. Most buyers do not use it. Knowing it exists helps them decide. Choose a period that gives time to try the product, such as one or two weeks for a course.

Within the guarantee

The buyer asks for the refund from their area or from their purchase email. OnBio returns the money on the same method they paid with and removes their access. Nobody in the business can reject or delay a refund within the guarantee. The corrective invoice of that refund is issued on its own at the same moment.

Outside the guarantee

  1. 1. Click Refunds in the side menu.
  2. 2. Find the request under Pending and read the buyer's reason.
  3. 3. Click Approve, or click Reject and type the Reason for rejecting.

The reason has from 10 to 1,000 characters and reaches the buyer by email. If a request remains undecided, you get a reminder after 3 and 7 days. Only the owner and administration can approve or reject.

In your balance

The refund deducts the refunded amount from your balance. OnBio's fee on that sale is also returned. If the bank refund fails, the request appears under Failed.

Refunds that go out on their own

There are cases where OnBio returns the money without anyone asking: when moderation withdraws a product, when a session is cancelled within your policy and when a buyer withdraws from a service within the legal period. Refunds and guarantee explains it.

What you have now

You know which refunds you decide. In the next chapter you see chargebacks.
