Chapter 4 of 4
Chapter 4 of 4
Sessions and activity
Two screens tell you what happens in your account and in your business. Your sessions say where your account has been signed in from. The business activity says who changed what. Checking them now and then lets you see a problem before it becomes serious.
Check your sessions
- 1. Open Settings in the side menu and click Security.
- 2. Check the Open sessions, with the device, the place and the last activity of each one.
- 3. Click Close on the session you do not recognise.
The session you are looking from appears as This session. The Sign-in history keeps those of the last 90 days.
If you do not recognise an access
If you get the email “New sign-in to your OnBio account” and it was not you, click Close the other sessions and change your password. Changing it also closes the sessions on your other devices. An access with “Wrong code” in the history means someone tried your password without your phone. Check sessions and devices explains it.
See the business activity
- 1. Open Settings, click Team and activity and choose Activity.
- 2. Choose the Person, the Item and the dates in From and To.
- 3. Open the entry you are looking for to see each field with its previous and new value.
The activity records what your team, OnBio, your API keys and your buyers change. Nobody can edit or delete an entry, not even OnBio. Entries are kept for six years. See the business activity explains it.
Passwords, codes, tokens and bank details appear as modified, without their value. That way the activity tells you something changed without showing the data to whoever should not see it.
Checklist
- Each person on your team has the smallest role that works for them.
- Each person signs in with their own account and nobody uses your password.
- Your two-step verification is on and your codes are kept off your phone.
- You have checked your open sessions and closed the ones you do not recognise.
- You know how to look for a change in the business activity.
