Editions and groups

With drip, each student gets a lesson or a module every few days, counting from their purchase.

1. 11. Open the course and click the Release tab.
2. 22. Under content release, choose Drip.
3. 33. Under Released every, choose Lesson or Module.
4. 44. Type the Days between releases, from 1 to 365.
5. 55. Click Save.

When a new lesson opens, the student gets an email with its link.

If your course starts on a date with the whole group, organise it in editions. Whoever buys while enrolment is open joins the edition and the drip counts from its start.

1. 11. Click New edition in the Editions tab.
2. 22. Type the Edition name.
3. 33. Set Enrolment opens, Enrolment closes, Starts and Ends.
4. 44. Click Save edition and then Publish in its menu.

Dates are in Madrid time. If the course already has students and you want to switch it to editions, first create an edition for them.

If you sell all year to whoever arrives, open access or drip work best. If you run dated launches and want the group to move together, with live sessions or a community, choose editions. You can start with open access and switch to editions later, first creating an edition for those already inside.

A group gives some students other rules, for example a company that needs to see the content later. Under Group content you choose Hidden or From a date for each part. Students are added to the group from the Students tab. Release, editions and groups explains it.
