Chapter 3 of 4

The checkout and the invoices

Your customer pays in the same checkout as always. The summary tells them that you sell the session.

What your customer sees

The checkout summary has a block with «Sold by» and your name, your tax ID, each session with its price and the exemption with its article. If the same payment has a course or another product of OnBio, it shows in a second block with its VAT. They are two charges on the same card. A line under the total explains it with your name and the name of OnBio.

The IRPF withholding

If you are a professional and a business or a professional with a Spanish tax ID buys, the checkout offers Apply IRPF withholding (15%) with the rate of your tax profile, which can also be 7%. It comes ticked. Your customer pays the price less the withholding and pays that to the tax office. If they untick it, they pay the whole price and you get the full amount of the session.

Your third-party invoices

Each sale has its invoice in your name, with its own series, the exemption and the withholding if there was one. OnBio issues it as a third party and records it in Verifactu. You have it in Invoices as Sale in your name, and your customer gets it by email.

Your trader details

To sell in your name, your store has to show your complete trader details: name, address, email and phone. The Digital Services Act asks it of whoever sells to consumers. You fill them in in your tax details. If one is missing, the checkout of an exempt session does not open until you complete it. Meanwhile your courses and the rest of the products of OnBio keep selling as always.

What you have now

You know how your customer pays and which invoice they get. In the last chapter you see how the money reaches your account.
