When you confirm your email, the screen Protect your account with a passkey offers to create one on that device.

1. 11. Select Create passkey.
2. 22. Confirm with your fingerprint, your face or the PIN when the device asks.

If your browser does not support passkeys, the screen moves to the authenticator app on its own.

You need an app on your phone, such as Google Authenticator, 1Password or Authy, which makes a new code every 30 seconds.

1. 11. Select I'd rather use an authenticator app.
2. 22. Scan the QR code on the screen with the app.
3. 33. Write in Code from the app the 6 digits the app shows.
4. 44. Select Turn on verification.

Each recovery code lets you in once if you lose your phone. You only see them on this screen, so keep them in a password manager or print them.

2. 22. Keep the codes off your phone.
3. 33. Tick I have saved the codes in a safe place.
4. 44. Select Go to the panel.

Your store sells from the moment you publish it in the setup. The money of those sales waits in On hold until you verify your identity and your bank in Stripe with Verify to get paid, and OnBio's review is requested on its own when you finish. If the days pass without verifying, new sales pause and then the money goes back to your buyers. The panel and the app warn you before each date.

Your account asks for your passkey or a code each time you sign in and your recovery codes are safe. The next chapter creates your first product from a template.
