Guide for creators
Email marketing
49 min · 6 chapters
Your email list is the only part of your audience that does not depend on an algorithm. Here you build it and use it to sell. There are six chapters, about 49 minutes in total.
You start with how your contacts are created and who can receive your emails. Then you import your previous list, organise it with tags, prepare your first broadcast, turn on the automations that work on their own and, if you already use another email tool, connect it.
When you finish you will have
- Clear who is subscribed to your emails and with what proof.
- Your previous list imported with its consent.
- Tags to write only to whoever you want.
- Your first broadcast prepared, tested and scheduled.
- Your first automations reviewed and active.
Have at hand
- The CSV of your contacts if you come from another platform.
- The ideas for your next emails.
- Your email tool's key if you want to sync it.
Guide contents
- Contacts and consentsEach purchase, each lead and each booking creates its contact without you doing anything.
- Import contactsIf you come from another platform, do not start from scratch.
- TagsWith tags you group your contacts, for example by interest or by the event where you met them.
- BroadcastsA broadcast is a one-off email, such as the launch of a course or a piece of news.
- Automations from templatesAn automation sends emails on its own when something happens, like a download or a half-finished payment.
- External email toolsIf you already send your newsletters from Mailchimp, MailerLite, ActiveCampaign, Kit or Brevo, you can keep doing it.
