Chapter 4 of 4

Member area on your domain

With the domain active, it is not only your store that changes address. Everything that hangs from it moves to your domain: the member area, the help page, the legal information and your product pages. Your buyers do not leave your brand at any moment.

The addresses

Your store is served on your domain without your store's name in the path. The member area stays at yourdomain/area and the help page at yourdomain/help. Your product pages stay at yourdomain followed by each product's name.

Your store's onbio.es addresses take people to your domain. The links you shared before, those in your emails and those in your bios keep working. Even so, update your bio and your fixed links to your domain so your followers see it.

Your buyers

Your buyers enter their area with the link they get by email, as always. OnBio's emails link to your domain as soon as it is active. If a buyer saved the onbio.es address, they still reach your domain.

Search engines

The addresses search engines index become those of your domain. The sitemap and the canonical addresses of your pages use your domain. That way your products rank with your brand.

If you change domain

If you connect another domain later, the links of your previous domain stop working when you delete its record. Warn your buyers first and keep the old record until you have updated your links.

Checklist

  • Apple Pay and Google Pay appear at checkout.
  • Your member area and your help page open on your domain.
  • Your bio and your fixed links use your domain.
  • The CNAME record is still at your provider.
