Your own domain

28 min · 4 chapters

With your own domain your store opens at an address of yours, such as shop.yourdomain.com. Your buyers see your brand from start to finish, also in the member area. There are four chapters, about 28 minutes in total. Most of that time is waiting for the record to propagate.

You start by choosing the domain. Then you create its record with your provider, follow the certificate issuing and see how your member area looks on your domain.

When you finish you will have

  • Your store opening on your own domain with HTTPS.
  • The CNAME record created with your domain provider.
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay working on your domain.
  • Your member area and your help page on your domain.

Have at hand

  • Your store published.
  • Access to your domain provider's panel.
  • The subdomain you want to use, such as shop or courses.
