Chapter 4 of 6
Funnels
A funnel is a short path for a campaign. Whoever arrives from an ad or a video sees a free guide or a sales page, pays at checkout and, if you want, gets a one-time payment offer right after. Each funnel has its own address and its own figures, so you know which campaign brings you sales.
Before building it
Publish the products you are going to use. If the first step is a free guide, create a lead magnet first. If you want a follow-up offer, have another product published with a one-time payment offer.
Create the funnel
- 1. Open Store in the side menu and click the Funnels tab.
- 2. Click New funnel and type the Name and the Address.
- 3. Choose the First step and the Product of the first step.
- 4. Choose the Checkout offer.
- 5. Choose the Follow-up offer (optional) if you want to offer something after payment.
- 6. Click Save.
After a sales page, the checkout offer has to be for that same product. The address takes only lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens.
Publish and share it
- 1. Check that no step shows warnings.
- 2. Click Publish.
- 3. Click Copy the address of the funnel and paste it in your ad or your bio.
Measure the campaign
The funnel counts views, contacts, started payments, sales, accepted offers and revenue. The figures of the last 30 days are on its screen. If many see the page and few start paying, review the page. If many start paying and few finish, review the price or the payment methods.
Funnel or store
The store shows all your products to whoever reaches your bio. A funnel takes each person along the path of a single product, without distractions. You can have several funnels at once, one per campaign. Unpublish takes the funnel down to change it. Create a funnel explains it.
What you have now
You have a funnel published for your campaign. In the next chapter you test which sales page sells more.
