Chapter 3 of 5

Your links

Each product with a commission has its link with your code. When someone enters with it and buys within the days the store sets, the sale counts for you. Your link is your work tool, so it is worth understanding well how it works.

Copy your link

  1. 1. In your affiliate program, find the product under Your links.
  2. 2. Click the copy button next to the link.
  3. 3. Share it wherever you want, such as in your bio, a video or a message.

The attribution window

When someone enters with your link, the store remembers your code for the days of its attribution window, which the program page states. If they buy in that time, even days later, the commission appears under Commissions as Pending.

The last click

The last click counts. If the person later enters with another affiliate's link, the sale belongs to that other affiliate. If you buy with your own link, there is no commission.

Cookies

Attribution uses a cookie the person has to accept in the store's cookie notice, in the affiliates category. If they reject it, the store cannot remember your code and the sale does not count for you. You cannot do anything to avoid it, because it is the buyer's decision and the law protects it.

Recommend well

Recommend products you know and tell why they helped you. Say it is an affiliate link, because your audience appreciates it and the law asks for it in advertising. An honest recommendation sells more and for longer.

Your code

You can change your code once every 30 days with Change code. If you change it, the old links stop counting for you. Copy again the ones you shared. Your links and attribution explains it.

What you have now

Your links are shared. In the next chapter you follow your commissions.
