The right of withdrawal by type of product

Reviewed on 5 October 2026

The law gives the buyer 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase. OnBio applies the rule that fits each type of product and shows the texts needed at checkout.

See a withdrawal refund

Withdrawal refunds go out without going through you and appear in your sales.

  1. 1. Click Sales in the side menu.
  2. 2. Choose Refunded in the state of the orders.
  3. 3. Open the order to see the refunded amount.

What happens next

In downloads, courses, memberships, private podcasts and bundles, the buyer consents to start now and acknowledges losing the withdrawal right. They do it with a checkout tick box that comes unticked. Your guarantee still applies.

In sessions, session packs, custom services and live events, the buyer keeps 14 days to withdraw. If they ask within that period, OnBio returns the money.

  • If the service has not been provided yet, the total is returned.
  • If it has been provided in part with their consent to an early start, the part already provided is deducted. In a pack of 5 sessions with 2 held, 3 of every 5 euros are returned.
  • If it has been provided in full with that consent, there is no withdrawal right left.
  • Live events with a date also have the withdrawal right.

The refund deducts the refunded amount from your balance and cancels the future bookings of that order.

Keep in mind

  • The withdrawal right is checked before your cancellation policy. If it does not apply, your policy applies.
  • OnBio stores the proof of consent with its date, the accepted text and the IP. It also helps against a chargeback.
