Reserves on your balance
Reviewed on 4 October 2026
If your refund or chargeback rates go above the review thresholds, OnBio keeps part of your balance for a while. The reserve covers the refunds that may come and is released on its own when the rates go back to normal.
See your reserve
- 1. Open Payouts in the side menu.
- 2. Look at the Held figure of the balance.
- 3. Read the reserve notice, with your refund and dispute rates and the date the last tranche is released.
What happens next
While the reserve is active, OnBio keeps a percentage of each release, every time a sale ends its guarantee and moves from pending to available. Each held tranche goes back to your available balance when its period ends. When your rates have been below the thresholds for 30 days, the reserve ends and you get an email.
Keep in mind
- The reserve does not block your sales or your buyers' access.
- When it starts you get the email «We have activated a reserve on your balance» with your rates, the percentage and the days each tranche lasts.
- To bring the rates down, review the reasons for your refunds and answer chargebacks with the proof of delivery.
- If the rates keep rising up to the blocking threshold, OnBio pauses your sales while a person from the team reviews the case.
