Privacy requests from your buyers

On this page

A buyer can ask OnBio for a copy of their data, to correct it, to erase it, to limit its use or to object. OnBio handles what it keeps as a platform. If that person is on your contact list, it forwards the request to you by email, because you are responsible for that data.

Handle a request

  1. 1. Click Privacy in the side menu.
  2. 2. Find the request in Requests from your contacts.
  3. 3. Click Export their data or Erase the contact, depending on what they ask.

Decline a request

If you cannot handle it, for example because the law requires you to keep that data, decline it with a reason.

  1. 1. Click Decline on the request.
  2. 2. Type the Reason, 20 characters or more.
  3. 3. Click Send the refusal.

What happens next

The person gets the answer. If you decline, they get your reason and the information about their right to complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

Keep in mind

  • Handle each request before the deadline you see in its row. The law gives one month to answer.
  • Erasing does not delete what the law requires keeping, such as invoices. OnBio blocks that data so nobody uses it.
  • For the data of your own account, use the other part of Privacy.
