Privacy

On this page
Panel privacy with the account requests and the forwarded requests of the contacts.

Here you handle data protection rights. It has two parts: the requests about your own account's data and the requests from your contacts that OnBio forwards to you because your business is responsible for that data.

How to get there

Click Privacy in the panel's side menu. The email forwarding a contact's request also brings you here.

What you can do

  • Ask for access to your account's data, its correction, its erasure, restriction or objection to processing.
  • See your contacts' requests with their deadline.
  • Export a contact's data to hand it over to them.
  • Erase a contact who asked for it.
  • Decline a request with a reason when you cannot handle it.

Step by step

Handle a request from a contact

  1. 1. Find the request in your contacts' requests.
  2. 2. Click Export their data or Erase the contact, depending on what they ask for.

Decline a request

  1. 1. Click Decline on the request.
  2. 2. Type the Reason, 20 characters or more.
  3. 3. Click Send the refusal.

What happens next

The person receives the answer. If you decline, they receive your reason and information about their right to complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

Keep in mind

  • Handle each request before the deadline you see on its row. The General Data Protection Regulation, applicable since 25 May 2018, gives one month to answer.
  • Erasing does not delete what the law requires to be kept, such as invoices. OnBio blocks that data so nobody uses it while the obligation lasts.
