Instagram has disconnected

If you got the email to connect Instagram again or your AutoDM rules are paused, find here what you see and follow the steps of that cause.
Instagram withdrew access
- How to recognise it
The account appears as Reconnection needed and your AutoDM rules are paused with Instagram disconnected in their row. They work again when you connect Instagram again. It happens when you change your Instagram password or remove OnBio's access from Instagram.
- Where to check it
You see it in Instagram, in the connection status.
- What to do
- 1. Click Connect again.
- 2. Sign in to Instagram and accept all the permissions.
- 3. Check that the account appears as Connected.
A permission is missing
- How to recognise it
The account is connected, but Permissions says what is missing, for example reading comments. The rules that need that permission do not answer.
- Where to check it
You see it in Instagram, in the Permissions row.
- What to do
Click Connect again and tick in the Instagram window all the permissions OnBio asks for. If you remove them again from Instagram, the rule stops again.
The account is no longer professional
- How to recognise it
When connecting, the screen says That account is personal. Switch it to professional on Instagram and connect again. It happens if you switched the account to personal on Instagram.
- Where to check it
You see it in Instagram, right after coming back from the Instagram window.
- What to do
On Instagram, switch the account to professional from the settings of your account type. Then click Connect again in OnBio.
You connected another account
- How to recognise it
Your rules are paused with the reason You connected another Instagram account. The rules of a single post listened to the previous account.
- Where to check it
You see it in AutoDM, in the row of each rule.
- What to do
Open each rule with Edit, choose a post of the new account or All and click Save. Then click Activate in its menu.
Frequently asked questions
Are comments lost while it is disconnected?
Comments that arrive while the account is disconnected get no automatic answer. After reconnecting, the rules answer the new comments.
