Chapter 2 of 4
AutoDM rules
With AutoDM, when someone comments a word on your Instagram post, they get the link to your product in private. Whoever writes “GUIDE” on your reel gets the link to your guide at once. The reply goes out at any hour, also while you sleep. Each comment also gives your post visibility.
Create a rule
- 1. Click Messages in the side menu, open AutoDM and click New rule.
- 2. Type the Name and choose One post or All under Where it listens.
- 3. Choose the trigger and add the Keywords.
- 4. Write the Reply with {link} where the link goes.
- 5. Choose the product under Target and click Save and activate.
Keywords ignore capitals and accents. A rule accepts from 1 to 10. On a single post only comments are heard. With All you can also answer direct messages.
Ask for the email before the link
- 1. Tick Ask for the email before sending the link.
- 2. Write the Email request with {privacy_url} to link your privacy policy.
- 3. Click Save.
The commenter leaves you their email before getting the link and goes into your contacts. That way you can write to them later even if they do not buy.
Write a good reply
Each reply starts with the notice that it is automatic. Then write as you would talk: say thanks, say what they will find and put the link. The reply has a maximum of 1,000 bytes with the notice and the link. An emoji takes several bytes, so use them sparingly.
Measure what sells
The AutoDM list shows for each rule its triggers, its replies, the emails collected, the clicks and the sales. Compare your rules and repeat the formula of the one that sells most. AutoDM rules explains it.
Once a day per person
A rule answers the same person only once in 24 hours. Repeated comments count as duplicates. That way nobody gets the same message several times for commenting a lot.
What you have now
Your rule answers for you. In the next chapter you see your buyers' WhatsApp notices.
