Posts, channels and pinned posts

In the community you post texts with images, videos or links, each in a channel. The team's posts carry the Team mark. What matters, such as the rules or the welcome, you pin at the top of the feed so nobody misses it.
Before you start
- Create the community and its channels.
Post
Open the community from Communities. At the top of the feed you have the box to post.
- 1. Select the box to share something with the community.
- 2. Choose the Channel.
- 3. Write the text and add images, a video or a link if you want.
- 4. In When to publish, choose Publish now.
- 5. Select Publish.
Pin a post
- 1. Open the post in the feed.
- 2. Select the actions menu of the post.
- 3. Select Pin post.
What happens next
The post appears in the feed of its channel. A pinned one shows first in All and in its channel until you unpin it.
Keep in mind
- A post accepts up to 10,000 characters and 4 images of up to 10 MB. Add to each image its alternative text with + ALT.
- A YouTube, Vimeo, Loom or Wistia video is linked. A video you upload carries the buyer's watermark and counts in your video hours.
- You can have up to 5 pinned posts per community.
- If you delete a channel, its posts move to General.
