Levels
Reviewed on 15 October 2026
On this page
Here you turn on the levels of the community and see how many members are at each one. Each member moves up a level with the points earned by taking part.
How to get there
Open the community from Communities and press the Levels tab, next to Drafts. The page opens with the switch on top and the rules of points below.
What you can do
- Turn the levels on or off with the switch.
- See the points each action gives and the points each level asks for.
- See how many members are at each level.
- Open the editor of each channel, module or resource tied to a level.
Step by step
Tie content to a level
- 1. Open the editor of the channel in Channels, of the resource in Resources or of the module in its course.
- 2. Choose the level in Minimum level.
- 3. Save the change.
What happens next
A member below the level sees the content closed with the level that opens it. On reaching it, the content opens by itself and the member gets a notice.
Keep in mind
- The levels are off when the community is created. The points count from the moment you turn them on.
- Comments and chat messages add up to 20 points a day between the two.
- The General channel always stays open to everyone.
These roles can open this screen: owner, admin, content editor and support.
