Order bumps and follow-up offers

Reviewed on 4 October 2026
On this page

An order bump is an extra the buyer adds at checkout with one click, like the recipe book next to the course. A follow-up offer is shown on the thank-you page, when the purchase is already done. It is charged to the same card, without the buyer typing it again.

Add an order bump

Each offer carries up to three extras. Each extra is a one-time payment offer of another product of your business.

New offer dialog with the name, the link, the payment mode, the price and the visibility.
  1. 1. Open the main offer with Edit from Offers, in Settings.
  2. 2. Under Order bumps, click Add order bump.
  3. 3. Choose the Offer of the extra.
  4. 4. Write the Headline, the Description and the Price of the extra in euros.
  5. 5. Click Save offer.

Add a follow-up offer

  1. 1. In the same offer, scroll down to Follow-up offer.
  2. 2. Choose the Offer you want to show after the purchase.
  3. 3. Write the Headline, the Description and the Price in euros.
  4. 4. Click Save offer.

What happens next

At checkout, the extras appear under Add to your purchase, always unticked, so the buyer decides whether to add them. After paying, the thank-you page shows them the follow-up offer with a button that states its amount, like «Add for €7.00». If they do not want it, they click No, thanks and go on to their purchase with no new charge.

Keep in mind

  • The follow-up offer is only charged if the buyer clicks its button. Closing the page, going back or letting time pass never charges it.
  • If the bank asks for authentication, the buyer confirms it on the same page.
  • The follow-up offer appears in Sales as an order of its own with the type Follow-up offer.
  • The extras and the follow-up offer have to be one-time payment offers of your business.
