Your buyers can give a product to another person from checkout. Whoever pays receives the invoice and the receipt, and whoever receives the gift gets the access in their email, in their name.
How a buyer gives a gift
Gifts are available in one-time payment and pay later offers, without you turning them on.
- 1. The buyer ticks It's a gift at checkout.
- 2. They type the Email of the person receiving it.
- 3. They pay as in any purchase.
- 4. The thank-you page confirms with Your gift is on its way who it was sent to.
Find a gift in your sales
- 1. Open Sales in the side menu.
- 2. Search for the order by the email of whoever paid.
- 3. Open it and look for the Gift mark in the header.
What happens next
The person receiving the gift gets an email with the access to the product and the name of whoever gives it. The access is theirs, in their member area. The invoice is in the name of whoever paid.
Keep in mind
- Subscriptions and instalments cannot be given as gifts.
- Whoever pays receives the payment receipt and the invoice, without access to the product.
- The email of the person receiving the gift says the name of whoever gives it.
