Chapter 3 of 3
Chapter 3 of 3
Your money in euros
Even when the buyer pays in their currency, you always get paid in euros, those of the price of your offer.
What you get from each sale
Your balance receives the euros of the price of the offer, as in a sale in euros. If Stripe credits a little more or a little less when changing the currency, that difference belongs to OnBio and does not touch your balance. In Sales each sale in another currency shows the euros and, under them, what the buyer paid.
Refunds and renewals
A refund gives the buyer back what they paid in their currency and takes from you the euros of that sale. A subscription in another currency renews the same amount in that currency, and each renewal counts in the euros of the day of the charge.
Invoices and reports
The invoice of a sale in another currency shows the amount paid and the rate of the European Central Bank of the day of the sale, with the base and the VAT in euros. The monthly report for your accountant splits the sales by currency, and the quarterly one-stop-shop return converts them at the rate of the last day of the quarter. Reports for your accountant explains it.
Disputes
If a buyer opens a dispute with their bank, Stripe opens it in the currency of the charge. OnBio counts it in the euros of that sale for your balance, and whatever Stripe keeps on top because of the exchange also belongs to OnBio.
The sales CSV
The sales CSV of the analytics has one row per order line with its euros. A sale in another currency adds at the end the currency and the amount the buyer paid for that line.
