Payout account
On this page
Here you set up with Stripe the account where you receive your payouts. Stripe, the company that processes OnBio's payments, verifies your identity and that the bank account is in your name. OnBio does not keep your identity document or your IBAN, because Stripe keeps them.
The screen shows the status of the account, the details Stripe asks for with their deadline and the bank account with its last four digits.
How to get there
Select Payout account in Onboarding. You also arrive from the notice in Payouts when the account needs attention.
What you can do
- Open the Stripe form with Set up payouts.
- See the Account status.
- See in What Stripe asks for each pending detail and the deadline when Stripe sets one.
- Complete those details with Complete with Stripe.
Step by step
Set up payouts
- 1. Complete your tax details first.
- 2. Select Set up payouts.
- 3. Fill in the Stripe form with your identity document and your bank account.
What happens next
The account moves to Being verified and then to Active. If Stripe needs more details, they appear in What Stripe asks for and you receive the email «Stripe needs more details of your payout account».
Keep in mind
- If you close the form halfway, your details stay at Stripe and you can carry on later from here.
- The holder of the bank account has to match your name or company name. If it does not match, payouts stop until you fix it at Stripe.
- If you do not complete what Stripe asks for before the date, Stripe can stop charges or transfers.
- To change the bank account later, use Payouts. Change the bank account explains it.
These roles can open this screen: owner, admin and accounting.
