Verified reviews and testimonials

The pages of your products show two kinds of social proof. Reviews are written by your buyers from their member area and carry the «Verified buyer» mark because only someone who paid for the product can review it. Testimonials are added by you with what your clients send you and never carry that mark.
Before you start
- Publish at least one product, because each review and each testimonial goes on the page of a product.
Review the reviews
Open Store in the side menu and select the Reviews tab, which gathers reviews and testimonials.
- 1. Filter by product if you have several.
- 2. Read each review with its rating and its date.
- 3. If a review breaks the rules, select Hide in the menu of its row and choose the Reason.
Add a testimonial
- 1. Select Add testimonial.
- 2. Choose the Product.
- 3. Write the Name and the Text your client sent you.
- 4. Select Save.
What happens next
Buyers' reviews add up to the star average of the product. A testimonial appears on the product page and in the Testimonials blocks of your store.
Keep in mind
- You cannot edit the text of a review. You can only hide it for offensive language, personal data, spam or content unrelated to the product.
- If a buyer asks for a refund, their review loses the verified buyer mark.
- A hidden review leaves the average and the buyer sees that you hid it.
- Use real testimonials, with the permission of whoever wrote them.
Frequently asked questions
How do I get more reviews?
Remind your buyers that they can review from the purchase in their member area. You can ask for it in the confirmation email of the product or at the end of a course. Reviews from verified buyers give more confidence than any testimonial.
