Free preview and live recordings

A lesson in free preview can be seen from the product page without buying, so that someone who hesitates can try your course. The recording of a live event is published as a lesson for those who had a place, so they can watch it later even if they did not make it in time.
Before you start
- For the preview, have the lesson you are going to give away published.
- For the recording, the event has to have ended and you have to have the video on your computer or on YouTube, Vimeo, Loom or Wistia.
Open a lesson as a preview
- 1. Open the lesson from its course.
- 2. Tick Free preview.
- 3. Select Publish.
Publish the recording of an event
- 1. Open the event product in Products.
- 2. Select Publish recording when the event has ended.
- 3. Choose Upload video and click Choose the file, or choose YouTube, Vimeo, Loom or Wistia link and paste the link.
- 4. Write the Lesson title.
- 5. Select Publish.
An uploaded video publishes as a lesson once it finishes processing.
What happens next
The preview lesson appears on the product page for any visitor. The recording is added as a lesson to the recordings course of the product and only those who had a place see it.
Keep in mind
- The recording cannot be published before the event ends.
- Choose as a preview a lesson from the beginning that shows your way of explaining.
- Whoever buys the course later sees the preview lesson as one more.
