Build a course

A course is sold as a product and learned in the member area. First you create the product of type course, with its sales page and its price. Then you build its content in Courses, with modules that group video, audio or text lessons.
Before you start
- Have the outline of the course in mind, with its modules and the lessons in each one.
- Have the videos or the texts of the first lessons.
Create the product and the course
- 1. Create a product of type Course from New product.
- 2. Open Courses in the side menu and select Create course.
- 3. Choose the Product and select Create course in the dialog.
Add the content
- 1. Select Add module and write the Module name.
- 2. Select Add lesson inside the module.
- 3. Write the Lesson title, choose the Type and select Create and edit.
- 4. Upload the video with Upload video or write the text.
- 5. Select Publish in the lesson.
What happens next
When the course has at least one published lesson, you can publish its product with its offer. Whoever buys it enters the member area and follows the lessons with their progress.
Keep in mind
- Each product of type course has a single course.
- A video can weigh up to 30 GB. The automatic captions can be corrected in the lesson.
- Your students do not see the draft lessons.
- To decide when each student sees each part, follow Release, editions and groups.
Frequently asked questions
Can I see the course as my students see it?
Yes. Select See in the area from the course to open it in the member area. You can also mark a lesson as a free preview so that it can be seen from the product page.
