Student import with the step to choose the CSV file.

Here you bring your students from Hotmart, Stan or another platform with a CSV file, so that they follow the course on OnBio without paying again. The import has three steps: the file, the columns and the report with what will be imported.

The report tells you which rows are not imported and why, before you select the final button.

How to get there

Open the course from Courses, select the Students tab and select Import, next to the button to give access by hand.

What you can do

  • Upload the CSV exported from another platform.
  • Say which column of the file is each OnBio detail.
  • Review which rows can be imported and why others cannot.
  • Send the imported students the access link.

Step by step

Import students

  1. 1. Select Choose file and choose the CSV.
  2. 2. Review in File columns which OnBio detail each column is.
  3. 3. Select Check again if you change any column.
  4. 4. Review the report with the rows that will not be imported.
  5. 5. Tick Send the access link to the imported students if you want them to receive it.
  6. 6. Select the import button with the number of students.

What happens next

The imported students appear in the list with their access to the course. If you ticked the sending, each one receives by email their link to enter the member area.

Keep in mind

  • The file accepts up to 5,000 rows and 2 MB.
  • OnBio recognises columns such as Email, Name, Purchase date, Edition or Group. The email one is mandatory.
  • Repeated emails, those who already have access and future or unrecognised dates are not imported.
  • If the course goes by editions, each row needs its edition.

These roles can open this screen: owner, admin, content editor and support.
