Here you decide how buyers enter the course and when they see each part. Access can be open, where each buyer enters when buying, or by editions, with start dates for each group. The content can be all available from the first day or open by drip.
You also turn on here the certificate students receive when completing the course.
How to get there
Open the course from Courses and select the Release tab, among the tabs above the content of the course.
What you can do
- Choose open access, where each buyer enters when buying and goes at their own pace.
- Choose access by editions, with start and end dates for each group of students.
- Leave all the content available from the first day.
- Open the course by drip, one lesson or one module every certain number of days.
- Issue a certificate on completing the course, with a minimum score in the quizzes.
Step by step
Release the course by drip
- 1. In Content release, choose Drip.
- 2. In Released every, choose Lesson or Module.
- 3. Write the Days between releases, from 1 to 365.
- 4. Select Save.
Turn on the certificate
- 1. In Certificate, tick Issue a certificate on completing the course.
- 2. Write the Minimum quiz score if you want to require one.
- 3. Select Save.
What happens next
With drip, each student receives the content counting from their purchase or from the start of their edition.
Keep in mind
- To move a course that already has students to editions, create first in the Editions tab an edition for them.
- With everything at once, each published lesson is available from the first day.
- The groups of the course can hide content or open it on another date for some students.
- The student downloads the certificate as a PDF with their name, the date and a verification code.
These roles can open this screen: owner, admin, content editor and support.
