Course

On this page
Here you build the content of a course. At the top you have the details of the course, its title and its description. Underneath are the modules with their lessons, in the order your students see them.
The tabs lead to the Release, the Editions, the Groups, the Comments and the Students of the course.
How to get there
Open Courses in the side menu, select the menu of the course's row and select Edit the content.
What you can do
- Change the title and the description of the course.
- Add modules to group the lessons.
- Add video, audio or text lessons inside each module.
- Change the order of the modules and the lessons by dragging them.
- Open Minimum level in the menu of a module to open it to the members of a community with levels once they reach that level.
- Open a lesson to edit its content.
- Delete an empty module or a lesson with Delete.
Step by step
Add a module with its first lesson
- 1. Select Add module.
- 2. Write the Module name.
- 3. Select Add lesson inside the module.
- 4. Write the Lesson title and choose the Type.
- 5. Select Create and edit to open the lesson and add its content.
What happens next
The new lesson opens as a draft. Your students see it when you publish it.
Keep in mind
- The modules group the lessons in the member area.
- The Minimum level only counts for whoever enters the course as a resource of a community with levels. Whoever bought the course on its own opens all of it.
- Only a module without lessons can be deleted. When you delete a lesson its video and its attachments are deleted. Your students' progress in it stops counting.
- The course needs at least one published lesson for its product to be published.
- If someone else changes the order of the course while you edit it, you see a notice with Reload to see the current order.
- With the focus on the handle of a module or a lesson, Space picks it up, the arrows move it, Space drops it and Escape cancels.
These roles can open this screen: owner, admin, content editor and support.
