Import contacts from a CSV
Reviewed on 5 October 2026
If you come from another platform, bring your contacts with a CSV. OnBio detects the columns and shows you a report before importing anything.
Import the file
- 1. In Contacts, click Import and upload your CSV.
- 2. Tick the consent declaration and click Continue.
- 3. Choose the Field in OnBio of each column and click Check rows.
- 4. Check the report and click the import button.
What happens next
New contacts come in as subscribed, with the import as proof of their consent. Those who already existed keep their data and get the new tags. Click Download discarded rows to see the ones that did not get in and their reason.
Keep in mind
- The CSV accepts up to 50,000 rows and 20 MB. Accents and the separator are detected on their own.
- Only import people who accepted your emails and that you can prove it.
- Whoever unsubscribed in OnBio stays unsubscribed even if they come in the file.
- If the import stops, the contacts saved up to that moment are kept. Upload the file again to finish.
