Consent and unsubscribes

Only subscribed contacts get your broadcasts and your commercial flows. A person becomes subscribed when they expressly accept your emails. OnBio stores the proof of each consent and each unsubscribe.
Ask for confirmation by email
In a lead magnet you can ask the person to confirm their email before subscribing. That way you avoid mistyped addresses or someone else's.
- 1. Open the lead magnet in Products.
- 2. In the Content tab, tick Ask for email confirmation.
- 3. Save the product.
What happens next
Whoever signs up gets an email with a link. Until they click it they do not appear as subscribed or enter the welcome. On each contact's page you see their consents with their date, their source and the text they saw.
Keep in mind
- A contact subscribes with the checkout box, the lead magnet box, the import with your declaration or their email in an Instagram message.
- Each marketing email carries one-click unsubscribe and an unsubscribe link in the footer. The unsubscribe is immediate.
- A bounce or a spam complaint also takes the contact out of your broadcasts.
- Whoever unsubscribed is subscribed again only if they accept your emails again.
