Here you prepare the emails you send to your contacts all at once, such as news or a product launch. Each row shows the name of the broadcast, its status, its recipients and its opens and clicks.
How to get there
Click Email in the side menu. The Broadcasts tab opens first.
What you can do
- Create a broadcast with its subject, its preview text and its content.
- Send it to all your subscribers or to a segment built with tags.
- Get a test in your inbox before sending it.
- Send it now or schedule it for a date and time.
- See the opens and clicks of each broadcast.
Step by step
Prepare a broadcast
- 1. Click New broadcast.
- 2. Type the Internal name, the Subject and the Preview text.
- 3. Write the content with the editor blocks.
- 4. Click Save draft.
- 5. Click Next: recipients when the content is ready to move on to choosing who receives it.
- 6. Under Who it reaches, choose All subscribers or A segment.
- 7. Click Send me a test and check it in your inbox.
- 8. Click Send now or Schedule broadcast with its date and time.
What happens next
A scheduled broadcast goes out at the Madrid time you chose. You can cancel it until it starts going out. Once it goes out, the list shows its opens and clicks.
Keep in mind
- Only subscribed contacts receive the broadcast. The recipient count already leaves out unsubscribes and bounces.
- In a segment, click a tag once to include it and again to leave it out.
- The internal name is only seen by you. The preview text appears next to the subject in some email readers.
- Each email carries its one-click unsubscribe link, as required by Spanish Law 34/2002 on information society services, in force since 12 October 2002.
These roles can open this screen: owner, admin and content editor.
