Set your availability and connect your calendar
On this page
To sell 1:1 sessions, OnBio needs to know when you can take them. You connect your calendar so your busy times are not offered and so each booking appears in it. Then you set the slots and the session rules on the product.
Before you start
- Have a product of type 1:1 session created.
- Have your Google, Outlook or Zoom account at hand.
Connect your calendar and your video call
Start with the connections, because the availability picks the video call and the calendar to write to from them.
- 1. Open Settings and click Calendars and video calls.
- 2. Click Connect next to Google Calendar and Meet, Outlook or Zoom.
- 3. Accept every permission in the provider's window.
- 4. Tick under Subtract busy times from the calendars that remove times.
- 5. Choose the calendar under Bookings are written here.
Set your availability
The availability lives on each session product, so two products can have different schedules.
- 1. Open the product in Products, go to Content and click Set the hours.
- 2. Under Weekly time slots, click Add slot on each day and choose From and To.
- 3. Set the Duration, the Break between sessions and Slots every.
- 4. Choose the Video call, its account and the Calendar to write to.
- 5. Click Save and check the times under This is how the buyer will see it.
What happens next
The buyer sees the free times on the product page in their time zone. Each confirmed booking is written to your calendar with the video call link. That time also stops being offered on your other products.
Keep in mind
- The product cannot be published until its availability is complete. The panel warns you with Set up the availability.
- The busy times of your calendars, your other bookings and your live events also remove free times.
- If a connection stops working, your sessions cannot be booked until you reconnect it.
