Turn on two-step verification

Activation of Sofía Marín's two-step verification with the QR code, the key and the app code field.

Here you turn on two-step verification for your account. It is mandatory on OnBio because your account moves money. OnBio offers you a passkey, with which you sign in and confirm with your fingerprint, your face or the PIN of the device, with no codes. If you prefer, you link a verification app on your phone, such as Google Authenticator, 1Password or Authy. Either way you end by saving your recovery codes.

How to get there

You arrive here when you confirm a new account or when you sign in with an account that does not have it turned on yet.

What you can do

  • Create your passkey with Create passkey.
  • Choose the verification app with I'd rather use an authenticator app and link it by scanning the QR code.
  • Copy the key with Copy the key if you cannot scan the code.
  • Download or copy your 10 recovery codes.

Step by step

Create your passkey

  1. 1. Select Create passkey.
  2. 2. Confirm with your fingerprint, your face or the PIN when the device asks.
  3. 3. Select Download or Copy to save the recovery codes.
  4. 4. Tick I have saved the codes in a safe place.
  5. 5. Select Go to the panel.

Turn on verification with the app

  1. 1. Select I'd rather use an authenticator app.
  2. 2. Scan the QR code with your verification app.
  3. 3. Write in App code the 6 digits the app shows.
  4. 4. Select Turn on verification.
  5. 5. Select Download or Copy to save the recovery codes.
  6. 6. Tick I have saved the codes in a safe place.
  7. 7. Select Go to the panel.

What happens next

You receive the email «Two-step verification updated on OnBio» and you enter the panel. From then on you sign in with your passkey or with the code from your app.

Keep in mind

  • Keep the recovery codes off your phone, in a password manager or on paper. You only see them on this screen.
  • If the browser does not support passkeys, the screen takes you straight to the verification app.
  • You can add more passkeys or move verification to another phone from Security in the panel settings.
