Here you write the code that proves it is you after your password. The code comes from your verification app on your phone and changes every 30 seconds, so someone with your password cannot get in without your phone.
If you do not have your phone at hand, you can sign in with one of the recovery codes you saved when you turned on verification.
How to get there
You arrive here when you select Sign in with your email and password, or when you sign in with Google or with Apple.
What you can do
- Write the 6-digit code from your app.
- Sign in with a recovery code with Use a recovery code.
- Go back to the app code with Use the app code.
- Start again with Back to sign in.
Step by step
Sign in with a recovery code
- 1. Select Use a recovery code.
- 2. Write one of your codes in Recovery code.
- 3. Select Verify.
What happens next
You enter the panel. A recovery code only works once. When you have few left, the panel Home warns you so that you generate new ones.
Keep in mind
- If the app code does not work, check that your phone's time is set automatically.
- If you have lost your phone and your recovery codes, check I cannot get into my account.
