IGIC
IGIC is the tax that replaces VAT in the Canary Islands. Sales of digital products to buyers from the Canaries carry IGIC instead of VAT. OnBio applies the right rate and puts it on the invoice.
Legal basis
The Canary Islands General Indirect Tax is regulated by Law 20/1991, amending the tax aspects of the Canary Islands Economic and Tax Regime. It is managed by the Canary Islands Tax Agency.
