My sales stopped because of a tax authorisation

Reviewed on 5 October 2026

All your sales need self-billing and the representation before the AEAT. If one of the two is missing, your sales stop. Check these causes in order, from the most frequent to the least frequent. Each one says how to recognise it, where it shows and what to do.

You revoked the authorisation

How to recognise it

The authorisation shows Revocation scheduled or Revoked. New sales that need it stop as soon as you ask for the revocation. The revocation itself takes effect on the last day of the month.

Where to check it

You see it in the authorisations step of the onboarding or, once the onboarding is complete, in Settings, under Tax authorisations.

What to do

While it says Revocation scheduled, it cannot be undone. Once it becomes Revoked, sign the authorisation again with Read and sign and your code. Sign the tax authorisations explains it.

You did not sign a new version in time

How to recognise it

OnBio published a new version of an authorisation and you got an email with the deadline. Past that date without signing it, the sales that need it stop.

Where to check it

You see it in the authorisations step of Onboarding, which asks for the authorisation with Sign the new version.

What to do

Click Sign the new version, read the text and sign it with the code of your authenticator app. As soon as you sign it, those sales work again.
