Integrations
Reviewed on 5 October 2026
On this page
Here you connect your store with other apps. You have your API keys, your webhooks and the connection with Instagram.
How to get there
Click Integrations in the panel's side menu. Only the owner and administration see it.
What you can do
- Create an API key to connect Zapier, Make or your own program.
- Rotate a key without cutting off your tools or revoke it instantly.
- Create a webhook that notifies another app when something happens in your store.
- Review the delivery history of each webhook.
- Connect your Instagram account for AutoDM and see whether it is still connected.
Step by step
Create an API key
- 1. Click New key.
- 2. Type a Name that reminds you where you use it.
- 3. Tick the Permissions it needs.
- 4. Click Create key.
- 5. Copy the key with Copy and keep it safe.
- 6. Click I've saved it.
Create a webhook
- 1. Click New webhook.
- 2. Paste the address the other app gives you.
- 3. Choose the events you want to receive and save the webhook.
- 4. Copy the signing secret and keep it safe.
New API key
Here you create a key so another application, such as Zapier, Make or your own program, can access your store's data.
- 1. Type the Name.
- 2. Tick the Permissions it needs.
- 3. Click Create key.
- 4. Copy the key that appears and save it in the other application.
Keep in mind
- You only see the key and the signing secret when you create them. If you lose them, rotate them to generate new ones.
- When you rotate a key, the old one keeps working for 24 hours so you can switch to the new one in your tools.
- When you revoke a key, the tools that use it stop working instantly and the Zapier and Make webhooks created with it are deleted.
- Each webhook delivery is signed and retried if the destination does not respond. You can have up to 20 webhooks.
- If a webhook's deliveries fail many times in a row, OnBio disables it and lets you know. Open it to turn it back on and resend what is pending.
- The full API key is only shown once, when you create it. Copy it into the other application then.
These roles can open this screen: owner and admin.
Frequently asked questions
How many requests does the API accept?
The quota is per store and adds up all your keys, Zapier and Make included. If you go over it, the API answers that you should wait and your tools retry. The exact figure is in the developer reference.
