Passkeys
On this page
Here you see the passkeys of your account, with the day you created them and their last use. With a passkey you sign in to the app and to the panel with your fingerprint, your face or the PIN of the phone, with no email or password.
How to get there
In the Settings of the app, tap Passkeys, in the ACCOUNT section. The row says how many you have saved.
What you can do
- Add a passkey on this phone.
- Give each passkey a name you recognise.
- Remove a passkey you no longer use.
Step by step
Add a passkey
- 1. Tap Add passkey.
- 2. If your second factor is the authenticator app, type its 6-digit code.
- 3. Confirm with your fingerprint, your face or the PIN when the phone asks.
Remove a passkey
- 1. Tap the three dots on the row of the passkey.
- 2. Tap Remove.
- 3. Confirm with the code of your app or with another of your passkeys.
What happens next
The new passkey shows first in the list and from then on works for Sign in with a passkey. Removing one closes the sessions on your other devices.
Keep in mind
- A passkey counts as two-step verification.
- You always keep at least one second factor: without an authenticator app, the last passkey cannot be removed.
- A passkey Synced with iCloud or Google works on all your devices with that account.
- You can have up to 10 passkeys.
Frequently asked questions
What do I do if I change phone?
If your passkey is Synced, the new phone with the same iCloud or Google account already has it. If not, sign in with your email and the code of your app and add a new passkey from here.
