How a sale is attributed

Reviewed on 5 October 2026

Each sale has at most one affiliate. OnBio decides it with the last-click rule within your attribution window. It only counts if the visitor accepted the affiliate cookies.

Check who a sale was attributed to

  1. 1. Click Affiliates in the side menu and open Commissions.
  2. 2. Filter by Product or by Period.
  3. 3. Find the order and look at the affiliate of its commission.

What happens next

When someone arrives through an affiliate's link and accepts the affiliate cookies, OnBio keeps that click for the window. If they buy within that period, the sale belongs to that affiliate even if they buy days later. If they first arrive through another affiliate's link, the sale belongs to the last one.

Keep in mind

  • If the visitor rejects the affiliate cookies, the click is not recorded and the sale has no affiliate. The cookie notice explains it.
  • A click outside the window does not count. The window goes from 1 to 90 days and you set it in Program and rules.
  • An affiliate who buys with their own link generates no commission.
  • In your analytics, a sale with an affiliate counts in the Affiliates source.
